While using DTS to copy a file on Server1 to Another SQL Server :2 Does DTS use port 1433 or uses microsoft file sharing?
ThanksWhile I don't know the answer for sure, I would guess that it will use the connection to the server that is configured as the prefered connection within the client network utility. This assumes that you are running the DTS package from the server with the data.
You can configure this.
